When to consult a doctor

Eating disorder caution

If you currently struggle with or have a history of disordered eating (anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating disorder), please consult a specialist before using a calorie-tracking app. Obsessive calorie monitoring can worsen symptoms.

Age and condition limits

The app is intended for well-informed adults aged 18 and over. It is not recommended for minors under 18, or for individuals whose basal metabolic rate or energy needs differ significantly from average (competitive athletes, heavy manual workers, those with chronic illnesses).

Calorie estimate accuracy

Food calorie content is estimated by the AI assistant. These estimates are usually good approximations but can deviate from actual values by 20–30%. For critical medical diets (e.g. insulin dosing, diabetic meal planning), use a dietitian-validated source.
